Attention as predictor of suicide: A meta-analysis

This student-initiated project examines the link between general attentional functioning and risk of suicide attempt. We are systematically evaluating and analyzing studies that have probed attentional functioning in suicide attempters vs. individuals who contemplate suicide. We hypothesize that relative impairment in this key executive function will correspond to increased likelihood of at least one suicide attempt.
